Assist Database Developer with changes/modifications to Portfol Software. The developer is waiting on a task that will not require an advance level of skill so that I can perform the changes myself.

Continue working on Network and Access Controls documentation
Current Week Accomplishments:
Completed 21 hours of work
Met with Supervisor and discussed progress made on IT policy manual
- Presented my work and research involving the current Network Controls processes and procedures
- Noted that Personnel Policy and Electronic Systems Policy both contain information regarding Network Controls and suggested that information be combined and placed into one document (preferably the Electronic Systems Policy).
- Presented my proposal for a Disaster Recovery Plan
- Suggested that backup files and software be placed securely off-site in the event of emergency.
Attended training for Laserfishe - a scanning filing system used by the company.
Met with database developer and discussed the upcoming changes that will be made to the database.
Next Week Objectives:

Start researching current procedures involving Operation Controls. (Note any Best Practice Opportunities)
Review Quarterly Financial Statement (Check for error and develop a comparison chart for 2014 and 2015 up to current Quarter.)
